The Florida Bulk Head Contractor Network
A statewide network of independent, licensed marine contractors, built carefully so waterfront owners outside Northeast Florida can reach a qualified team.
For waterfront owners
- Send your project details and photos from any Florida ZIP code.
- We review the request ourselves; there is no automatic hand-off.
- If a participating contractor whose license we verified serves your area and scope, we ask for your consent and share your project with that one contractor.
- If no one is available, we tell you, so you can move on.
For marine contractors
- Current Florida contractor license appropriate to the work, verified on the DBPR public record.
- Active general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage (or a valid exemption), with documentation.
- A signed participation agreement covering responsiveness, honest scoping and customer communication.
- Coverage outside Barefoot Marine Construction’s Northeast Florida service area.

Are there participating contractors in my area?
The network is being built region by region and we do not list contractors publicly. Check your ZIP code and send your project; we will tell you whether a participating contractor is available.
How are contractors vetted?
At minimum we verify the contractor's Florida license on the DBPR public record, confirm insurance documentation and require a signed participation agreement before any referral is sent.
Will my details be sold to multiple contractors?
No. With your consent, a partner-network request is shared with one participating contractor at a time. Without consent, we only reply to you ourselves.
Does Barefoot Marine Construction take partner-network jobs?
No. Barefoot Marine Construction works directly in Northeast Florida only. Projects elsewhere are handled by independent participating contractors.
