Information you give us

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number and preferred contact method.
• Project details: property ZIP code and, if you provide it, the project address; service type, property type, wall length, timeline and your description.
• Photos and documents you attach. Location (GPS) and other EXIF metadata are removed from JPEG, PNG and WebP photos when they are uploaded.
• Tool results you choose to send, such as Seawall Health Check answers, calculator inputs or a project brief.
• For contractor applications: company, license and coverage details.

Information collected automatically

• The page you submitted from, the first page you visited in the session, the referring website and any campaign (UTM) parameters, stored in your browser session and sent with your request.
• A one-way, salted hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string, used to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store your raw IP address with your request.
• If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects usage information (pages viewed, tool usage, clicks on phone and email links). Analytics is off unless you accept it, and we do not use advertising cookies.

Tool answers and photos stay in your browser unless you submit them.

How we use information

• To respond to your request, prepare estimates and schedule site visits.
• To route your request: Northeast Florida requests go to Barefoot Marine Construction; other requests are reviewed for a participating contractor.
• To prevent spam and fraud, maintain records of consent, and improve the website.

How we share information

• Participating contractors: only if your project is outside Barefoot Marine Construction’s direct service area and you checked the consent box, we may share your contact and project details with one independent participating contractor. See the lead-sharing disclosure.
• Service providers that host the website, store submissions, deliver email or provide analytics, under their own security and privacy terms.
• Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep project requests for as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, then delete or de-identify them. Submissions and uploads are stored privately and are accessible only to authorized staff through a password-protected admin area. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

• You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted.
• You can decline or withdraw analytics consent by clearing this site’s storage in your browser; the consent choice will be offered again.
• You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
