Lead-Sharing Disclosure

Exactly what happens to your project request, and when it is shared.

Northeast Florida requests

If your property ZIP code is in Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Clay, Flagler or Putnam County, your request goes to Barefoot Marine Construction, the company that owns and operates Florida Bulk Head. It is not shared with any other contractor.

Requests from the rest of Florida

Your request is stored and reviewed by Florida Bulk Head. Nothing is forwarded automatically.
If an independent participating contractor serves your area and project type, and you checked the sharing consent box, we may send your contact and project details (including photos) to one participating contractor so they can contact you.
If you did not consent to sharing, we will only reply to you ourselves.
If no participating contractor is available, we will tell you.

About participating contractors

Participating contractors are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Florida Bulk Head or Barefoot Marine Construction. Before a contractor can receive referrals, we check their Florida license on the state’s public record, request proof of insurance and require a participation agreement. Any contract for work is between you and that contractor, and you should review their license, insurance, contract terms and permits yourself. Learn about the network.

The consent language you see on our forms

I agree that Florida Bulk Head and Barefoot Marine Construction may contact me by phone or email about this project. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

If my project is outside Barefoot Marine Construction's Northeast Florida service area, I agree that Florida Bulk Head may share my contact and project details with one independent participating contractor serving my area so they can contact me.

We record the consent text, the date and time, and the page you submitted from with each request.

Changing your mind

Email quote@barefootmarine.com to withdraw consent or ask us to delete your request. If your details were already shared with a participating contractor, we will ask them to delete it too.
